I can’t thank you all enough for the wonderful start that we have had to the 2010-11 school year. No – the schedules are not perfect, the Fall Festival is looming and the school cleaning is not perfected. Nevertheless, Southwest is a GREAT place for our students and we are all lucky to be a part of it. Our students have already gotten started into a good PBIS routine so your work and preparation is paying off. I see our students smiling and working hard which is something for which all of you should be proud.
The new faces around the school have also gotten off to a wonderful start. We are glad that you are here and look forward to working with you to make this year special. Please let us know how we can continue to support you during these next few weeks. Enjoy your weekend and we will be ready to hit the ground running full speed on Monday.

-A few of our staff members or their families are dealing with illnesses. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers.
-Please check your email from the summer for instructions regarding an Atomic Learning technology survey. We will resend it to everyone who is new.
-I would like to "freshen up" our Friday Update for this year. If you have ideas, please send them my way.
